Classic Blackjack - Object of the Game

In Classic Blackjack, the object is to compete with the Dealer to achieve a hand value that is closest or equal to 21. Face cards are worth 10, Aces may be counted as 1 or 11 according to the Player's decision and all other cards are counted at their face value.

How to Play

Begin your game of Classic Blackjack by selecting your wager amount for the upcoming round. To activate the round, click Deal. The "house" will deal you two cards face up and the dealer two cards, one face down and the other face up.

Now make a decision as to how to proceed. Click Hit if you want an additional card. Click Stand if you choose to stick with cards as dealt and end your turn. Click Double to double your bet and be dealt another card. Click Split if you were dealt a Pair and choose to double your bet and turn your original hand into two.

Dealer Requirements

• The Dealer must hit on any hard (Ace = 11) or soft hand (Ace = 1) of 16 or less.
• The Dealer must hit on a soft total of 17 or less.
• The Dealer must stand on a hard total of 17 or more.

How to Win

The Player wins by:

• getting Blackjack.
• Making a hand closer to 21 than the Dealer's without going over 21 (busting).
• Staying under 21 if the Dealer busts.

Basic Rules

• Cards are dealt from one standard deck of 52 playing cards.
• Cards must be re-shuffled after every round.
• Blackjack means an automatic win. If Player and Dealer both receive Blackjack it is a draw and you push.
