Microgaming Casino Are Phasing Out Old Webapps

Microgaming Mobile Casinos Phase Out Old Webapps

Some Microgaming operators this week reported that they are phasing out the old Java and Webapp mobile casino platforms, and that they will redirect players using older Smartphone devices to the HTML5 casino platform from Microgaming's mobile casino developer, Spin3.

Unfortunately, the move will result in some older devices receiving a "not supported" message.

The first operator to roll out this change is the Fortune Lounge group. This will affect all of their mobile casino brands including Royal Vegas, 7 Sultans, Platinum Play, Euro Palace and Vegas Palms.

They tell us that that they have done extra training in their call centre to make sure that the agents are able to cope with compatibility issues that will no doubt arise.

  • For those currently using the older Java apps we recommend the following:
  • Remove any bookmarks or desktop shortcuts to the casino on your device;
  • Open up the browser on your device and enter the URL of the casino, e.g. royalvegascasino.com;
  • Save a the new bookmark to your device;
  • Use your existing login on the new screen.

If you still have problems, please contact the casino support and send them the make and model of your device as well as the operating system

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3;
  • Android 4.
