Poker Wins for Microgaming at EGR Awards 2015

The Isle of Man based online gambling group, Microgaming, announced a double win at the prestigious EGR B2B Awards. The 2015 awards ceremony was recently held on June 16th to honor the top operators in the industry. Two of the categories are dedicated to online poker, and Microgaming was thrilled to announce that it won both poker awards.

As such, Microgaming was named Best Poker Software of the year for the third year running, as well as Best Poker Network of the Year.

Microgaming Proud of "Amazing Achievement"

Microgaming was excited to announce its impressive win at the EGR B2B Awards, which took place at The Pavilion at the Tower of London last week. 

The Head of Poker at Microgaming, Alex Scott, said that "to win poker software of the year for the third year in  row is an amazing achievement."

He added that to net Poker Network of the Year as well, certainly highlights that Microgaming is the leading supplier of poker to the online gaming industry.

Scott pointed out the many achievements in Microgaming's past year, including taking several big operators live on the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN), as well as launching Babelfish with Adjarabet. In addition, Microgaming introduced the MPN to the Indian poker market.

"It's nice to see that all our hard work and commitment to poker is being recognized by the wider industry," said Scott.

Microgaming's MPN is an industry leading online poker network which incorporates over 30 top poker rooms. The group started off as Prima Poker, which evolved into the award winning platform it is today.

The platform redesigned its entire software in 2007, adding unique features such as the 'rabbit cam'. The group launched the ground-breaking Anonymous Tables concept in 2010 and a year later, become one of the first poker networks to launch mobile poker software.

Last year, the MPN Poker Tour of live events was launched.
