Microgaming Casino to Sponsor Prestigious UK Horse Race
32Red.com, the London listed online gambling group and operator of the award-winning, Microgaming powered 32Red Casino, has entered into a prestigious sponsorship deal.
The three-season deal struck with the UK racing venue operator, Jockey Club Racecourses, will see 32Red become the new sponsor of the 2016 Sprint Cup, as well as subsequent Spring Cup Festivals in 2017 and 2018.
The Sprint Cup is traditionally held at Haydock Park in September each year and 32Red's sponsorship deal falls on the 50th year of the race taking place.
Expanding Casino Sponsorship Portfolio
32Red.com has an excellent history of sponsoring sports events, especially in the United Kingdom.
In 2016, the online casino will be sponsoring the 32Red Superior Mile and the 32Red Old Borough Cup race, in addition to its new sponsorship of the 2016 Sprint Cup.
"We are delighted to be sponsoring the 32Red Sprint Cup at Haydock for the next three years, at least, and this further underlines our strategy to grow our profile and market share in British Racing," said 32Red chief executive Ed Ware this week.
Race Steeped With History
The Sprint Cup, which has been held at Haydock Park since 1966, is a three day fest, scheduled to run between September 1st and 3rd this year.
The general manager of Haydock Park, Jason Fildes said that they were thrilled to welcome 32Red as the new sponsor of the race in its 50th year.
"The Sprint Cup is steeped in history with Champions including classic sprinters such as Be Friendly, Danehill and G-Force, and three times winning jockeys Lester Piggott, Pat Eddery and Willie Carson," he said.
Fildes said that this year's Sprint Cup is already lining up to be a spectacular race, with entries including 2013 winner Gordon Lord Byron, Henry Candy's Limato and Twilight Son.
Fildes concluded that the Sprint Cup "warmly welcomes a new and exciting partnership with 32Red" and looked forward to continued success of the biggest and most prestigious raceday of Haydock's Flat Season with the backing of such an esteemed new partner.
