Microgaming Online Casino Posts Excellent Numbers

32Red Casino, the online casino powered by Microgaming, has contributed in a major way to the excellent numbers posted by parent company, 32Red Plc.

The London listed gambling company showed that net gaming revenue climbed 63% to $30.39 million, while gross profits were $7.5 million in the first six months of 2016.

The online casino was the main revenue earner for its parent company, with 70% of all revenues delivered by the award-winning gaming platform.

32Red Casino contributed $24.6 million of the net gaming revenue (32% up from last year), while Roxy Palace Casino, also owned by the group, contributed another $5.8 million.

Mobile gambling was especially profitable in the six month period, with 50% of all casino revenues from mobile account holders.

Strong Growth Across Brands

The chief executive of 32Red Plc, Ed Ware said that the group was delighted to report a record revenue and profitability performance for the online casino in the first half of 2016, "driven by strong growth across our business and brands."

"Current trading remains strong with like-for-like NGR [net gaming revenues] up four per cent on very strong comparatives in the second half to date," said Ware."Underpinned by our strong online gaming brands and exciting customer-focused offer, the board remains confident of meeting its expectations for the full year."

Powerful Microgaming Software

Much of 32Red Plc's success comes from the fact that the online casinos in its portfolio use Microgaming's software. 32Red has signed on to use Microgaming for at least another five years, and the reasons why are quite obvious.

Microgaming provides 32Red Casino with over 600 games for its casino lobby, ranging from branded slot games to classic slots and multi million jackpot progressive slot games.

In addition, the site carries blackjack, roulette, video poker, racing games, keno, scratch cards, casino poker and much more.

32Red Casino is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Government of Gibraltar.
