Microgaming Signs Content Deal with GVC Holdings

Microgaming has struck a strategic new deal that will many of its games reach regulated gambling markets in Europe. The deal was inked with the London listed GVC Holdings which acquired the iconic gambling entity Bwin.Party earlier this year.

Through the deal, Microgaming's Quickfire games will be deployed via its Prima Networks platform to online casinos such as PartyCasino, Party Poker and Bwin Casino.

The games will be available in regulated markets in Spain, Bulgaria and Belgium.

Online casino players in these countries will have immediate access to some of Microgaming's top titles - over 50 in total - such a Tomb Raider slot, Football Star slot and Hitman slot.

GVC Holdings said that the games will be integrated onto its gaming platform in upcoming weeks.

Boost in GVC's Market Positioning

The deal struck between the two groups is naturally significant for Microgaming from a business perspective, as well as for GVC Holdings' hold in the competitive European gambling market.

Liron Snir, GVC's chief product officer said about the deal: "This is an important supply deal for us that will significantly enrich the quality of our games portfolio in the Spanish, Bulgarian and Belgium markets."

"Signing a marquee name like Microgaming is a major boost to our positioning in these key strategic territories and is transformative to our casino portfolio," he added.

Players will Benefit from Deal

It should not be forgotten that the biggest winners from this new gambling deal are the players themselves who have access to scores of top quality Microgaming titles.

The director of the Microgaming-powered Prima Networks, Loraine Schoevers said that the group was delighted to have agreed a deal to supply bwin.party brands in Spain, Belgium and Bulgaria with gaming content through Microgaming's Quickfire platform.

"Building on our extensive work with other operators in these jurisdictions, this is an exciting development for all concerned, not least the players, who will soon be able to enjoy a more diverse selection of quality online slot games," said Schoevers.
