The International Gaming Awards will be held on February 6th, 2017, where the top operators and software suppliers in the industry are awarded for their contribution.
As usual, the Isle of Man based online casino software group, Microgaming has been shortlisted as a finalist in a number of important categories.
Microgaming will be vying for the title of Best iGaming Software Supplier against several other incredible suppliers. This is a particularly hotly contested category and is much coveted by the industry.
Another category where Microgaming has been shortlisted is for Best Innovator, where - again - competition is tough.
In last year's International Gaming Awards, Microgaming was named Best Innovator of the Year, and the group is hoping to duplicate its success in 2017 as well.
The prize was awarded to Microgaming at the Savoy Hotel in London as an opening to the ICE Totally Gaming 2016 expo.
Microgaming received its award for its VR Roulette product which was designed for use with the Oculus Rift DK2 headset and Leap Motion 3D Controller.
At the time, the CEO of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever said: "What a fantastic start to ICE! And what a tremendous accolade for our Research and Development team. They are constantly thinking ahead and pushing the boundaries, and deserve praise for consistently producing pioneering solutions that are effectively shaping the future of online gaming. This award, the second of its kind in recent months, further cements our status as the creative force in our industry. It really is a fantastic achievement well done to all involved!"
.... and many more!
