Progress in New Microgaming Headquarters Building

Microgaming, the Isle of Man based software group, has said that progress is being made on its new headquarters currently being constructed in Douglas.

The group hopes to have the five-storey building completed by the beginning of next year.

A spokesperson for Microgaming thanked the hard-working team of builders for their dedication to the project and its deadlines.

According to Microgaming, the structure and fabric of the building are nearly completed, and tradesmen will soon be able to enter the internal finishing stages of the project.

Linking Old with New

The new Microgaming building is being built adjacent to the online gambling software provider's existing MGS House headquarters. A link bridge has been planned between the old and the new building to allow for easy flow between the two.

The third floor walkway will span Hillside Terrace and connect the two buildings.

Microgaming announced plans to construct a new building in order to house its growing workforce and to allow for continued growth.

The group's finance director, John Coleman said: "Every day you look out the window at the new office something has changed or developed, which is incredibly exciting to witness."

"The on-site team are working tirelessly to complete the construction project and we’re busy finalizing the interior of the building, ensuring the environment is one where our talented people can thrive."

"We have a lot to look forward to," he said. "2017 is going to be an exciting year for the company!"

Investing in the Future

Microgaming sees the new project as an investment in the future. This group has been a pioneer in the online gambling industry from the start and continues to produce an excellent range of games and products each year.

Microgaming also planned its expansion on the Isle of Man as it believes in contribution to the island's growth and economic prosperity.

Although Microgaming would not publicize the cost of the new building in Douglas, it said that it was "a huge investment for the company."

Microgaming also said that "it indicates our commitment to the island."
