Microgaming Wins Industry Award for Poker Software

For the fourth consecutive year, Microgaming has won recognition for its quality online poker offering. The group won Poker Software of the Year award at the EGR B2B Awards for the fourth year running and was proud to announce its recent success.

In a statement put out by Microgaming this week, the company announced the win.

Alex Scott, head of poker at Microgaming said: "We’re delighted to retain our poker software crown for yet another year, having put so much hard work into making the MPN such a compelling option for players and operators."

While online poker numbers have dipped around the world in recent years, numbers on the Microgaming Poker Network actually increased during the course of last year.

In fact, the MPN was only one of four networks in the top 15 in the industry which showed growth in the number of poker players.
