Microgaming Games Contribute to Mr Green Profits

One of the online gambling industry's most trusted and entertaining casino sites, Mr Green Casino, posted significant revenue growth in the first half of 2016.

Without a doubt, much of the group's success is down to the excellent range of games it offers players, including titles by the leading software group, Microgaming.

Mr Green reported that its revenues had increased 10.2% year on year in the first half of 2016.

Total revenues grew from SEK 390 million in H1 2015 to SEK 429.7 million ($50 million) for the six months to June 30th, 2016.

Numbers for the second quarter of this year were also published, and it was shown that revenue climbed 8.4% year on year to SEK 211 million.

CEO Predicts Further Growth

The chief executive of Mr Green, Per Norman commented on the group's revenue growth and said:

"The strategy and the initiatives that have been adopted and implemented over the past year, including a new technological platform, a focus on mobile gaming, the broadening of our product range to include a sportsbook, a stronger focus on the live segment, a strengthened management team and a new CEO in Malta, are now starting to bear fruit at the operational level, putting us in a good position to deliver continued growth."

Top Microgaming games such as Thunderstruck and Tomb Raider can be played as part of Mr Green's desktop or mobile casino, and are hugely popular among players.

At the time of the signing of the contract, Mr Green's then-CEO, Mikael Pawlo said: "We are very impressed with QuickFire and we believe our customers in emerging and existing markets will enjoy playing Microgaming games in the safe and entertaining environment provided by Mr Green."
