Microgaming Scoops Big Win at Industry Awards

Microgaming, the Isle of Man based online gambling software provider, has proven once again why this group is considered a world leader in the industry.

For the third consecutive year, Microgaming has grabbed the prestigious title of Digital Product of the Year at the industry's Global Gaming Awards.

Microgaming's Quickfire product won the award as an innovative, multi operator platform that continues to keep players entertained year after year.

The Digital Product of the Year category is considered a highly competitive one, with many of the industry's top names vying for the title.

By winning this title, Quickfire shows how much impact it has on the digital gaming industry across its entire platform, which includes casino, poker, bingo, multiplayer games, mobile and live dealer software. Players on the platform enjoy access to over 600 Microgaming and partner group games.

Celebrating Casino Industry Achievements

The Global Gaming Awards were held this year at the Venitian Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas, celebrating the achievements of digital and land based gaming companies.

This year's 12 different award categories were judged by 60 expert judges who eventually picked the winners.

The editor at Gambling Insider, Alex Hammond said about Quickfire's win: "Congratulations to Microgaming, one of the biggest names in the digital supply industry who has once again had a tremendous year, spearheaded by this year's digital product of the year, Quickfire."

Excellent Results by Microgaming

The director of Quickfire at Microgaming, Andrew Clucas said that the latest win highlights the "incredible progress of Quickfire" since the platform launched in 2010.

"The platform has emerged as the product of choice for operators who require immediate access to the best online gaming content from Microgaming and select development partners," he said. "It’s great to see the industry celebrate the content, flexibility and innovation of Quickfire."

The Microgaming Poker Network's Babelfish API was also named runner-up in the Digital Gaming Innovation category at the Global Gaming Awards.
